Job Description

TW Power Services require a “Shutdown Electricians – April start” in Muswellbrook NSW:

We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Electricians to join the outage workforce at the Bayswater Power Station. The station is located in Muswellbrook, NSW.

The outage starts in mid-April and will last for approximately 6-8 weeks. All positions are casual and will work 6 x 11 hour days. While we consider candidates from any location, it is a ‘gate start’ and you will need to provide your own accommodation. There is a LAFHA to help offset the cost of any accommodation costs.
Successful candidates must be willing and able to make themselves available for work at short notice, including 12 hour shifts, 7 days per week as required. Suitable applicants will also be required to undergo a full pre-employment medical.

Key Requirements of the position include:
Trade Certificate
NSW Unrestricted Electrical License
HV Switching ticket
EEHA advantageous but not mandatory
Cert IV Instro also advantageous but not mandatory
Working at Heights (obtained within the last three years)
Confined Space Entry (obtained within the last three years)
Construction Safety Awareness (blue/white) card
