SUPPORT OFFICER WASTE SERVICES

Permanent Fulltime – 35 hours per week

Salary Range: $52,906 up to $58,726 + super

(Salary to be based on demonstrated competencies)

+ RDO every 4 weeks, long service leave after 5 years

 

Maitland City Council, a contemporary organisation, responsible for providing a wide range of services to Maitland and its growing population. Council is seeking motivated professionals to complement its dynamic and diverse workforce.

This role sits within the Planning, Environment and Lifestyle Group and provides administrative support to enable the delivery and provision of waste management services to ensure a quality and timely service is delivered to Council’s residents.

In this position you will provide professional administrative support including managing customer enquiries, recording and respond to correspondence and provide administrative support at meetings. Further, you will action waste related complaints and liaise with residents regarding waste service options, fees and charges.

To be successful in this role you will have a Certificate IV in Business Administration, Local Government Operations or equivalent and demonstrated experience in the provision of administrative support and customer service in a multi-disciplinary environment. Your communication and organisational skills along with an ability to work productively in a team will be highly regarded.
