Job Description

Maiwel require a “Youth Support Mentor” in Maitland NSW:

Transition to Work (TTW) is an innovative youth employment program implemented by the Australian Federal Government. The Mai-Wel Group delivers this program in the Hunter employment region, with sites in Maitland and Cessnock. This program provides intensive pre-employment support to improve the work readiness of young people aged between 15 and 21 years old to assist them into employment or education.
We are a fast growing business looking to meet people interested in helping change the lives of youth in the Hunter region, through employment and education. We are looking for innovative and creative ways to prepare young people for employment and education and want you to bring your ideas, skills and experience to the team. We want to capitalise on your success motivating young people by helping them form a vision of what they can achieve. On a daily basis in this role, you will call on your skill and coaching experience to positively support young people through the challenges of transitioning into employment.

We can train you in our systems and processes ? we cannot train enthusiasm, resilience, work ethic and
creativity, so please bring that with you.
